How much does a heating repair visit cost?
The diagnostic is $159, and it’s free when you approve the repair the same visit. You get the repair price before any work starts, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Can I book a furnace repair online?
Yes, any time, day or night. Pick a time on our booking page and our office confirms it. If you book after hours, we confirm first thing the next working morning.
What if my heat goes out at night or on the weekend?

Is there anything I can check before I call?
Yes, four quick things. Make sure the thermostat is set to Heat and above room temperature, with fresh batteries. Check that the furnace filter isn’t clogged. Check that the breaker and the furnace power switch (it looks like a light switch, near the furnace) are on. For a heat pump, clear snow or leaves away from the outdoor unit. If none of that fixes it, book a repair.
I smell gas. What should I do?
Leave the house right away, then call your gas company or 911 from outside. Don’t flip switches or use anything that could make a spark. Once the gas company says it’s safe, we can repair the furnace.
Should I repair or replace my furnace or heat pump?
It depends on the age of the system and the size of the repair. If it’s 15 years old or more, needs repairs often or heats unevenly, replacing it may cost less over time. Ask for a free estimate and we’ll show you both options.
